What areas do you service?
Festival Facepaint is available to service events in Southwestern Ontario, the Greater Toronto Area, and select cities beyond. Our general service area is to Newmarket in the northeast, Oshawa to the east, Niagara to the southeast, London to the southwest, and Mount Forest to the Northwest. A travel fee may apply to outside areas. Contact us for more.
Is your material safe?
We use only industry standard, professional quality skin safe paints. Our face and body paint is water-based and designed for use on the skin. It is easily removable with soap and water.
Temporary tattoos are applied in either glitter or airbrush paint. We use a safe waterproof adhesive for glitter application and both water based airbrush or long wear alcohol based.
We are especially mindful of hygiene and contamination risks when painting. We do not paint over open sores or wounds and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone deemed a health risk to others. All equipment has transitioned to one time use wherever available or washed and disinfected before every event.
How long should I book a service for?
Bookings are based on a number of factors, including guest size, design detail, and scope of event.

How long will my design last for?
Water based paint is not designed for longwear and generally begins to fade and breakdown within a few hours with the skin's natural moisture and perspiration. Longwear airbrush paint and glitter tattoos can last anywhere from 24-36 hours with care, and can be removed with an emollient cleanser.
How far in advance should I book?
Please allow for a minimum of 2 week's time when booking between busy season (May to December). If you are booking multiple services/entertainers, we ask for as much lead time to schedule accordingly.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, cheque, or EMT payment. Payment is due by event date.
